Exciting Opportunity: Education Coordinator
Kentucky Rural Water Association (KRWA) is seeking a dedicated Education Coordinator to support our mission of providing top-tier training and educational programs for water and wastewater professionals across Kentucky.
In this role, you'll help plan conferences, coordinate training events, and maintain essential records to support the professional development of water and wastewater operators. This is a great opportunity to join a passionate team that’s committed to strengthening the future of Kentucky's water and wastewater systems.
We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in event planning or training and a solid understanding of state and federal utility regulations. A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred. Occasional travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate KRWA training programs and events
- Manage event registration and maintain training records
- Support marketing efforts for training initiatives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary degree preferred
- Experience in training, event planning, or regulatory work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel occasionally
