Class II Distribution & Class III surface water treatment (Benton, KY)
Jonathan Creek Water District is looking for qualified individuals to fill full-time positions within our water district. Class II Distribution & Class III surface water treatment is preferred but not required.
NOT CURRENTLY CERTIFIED? We can hire candidates as an Operator Trainee and help fast tract their certification by utilizing their education from a regionally accredited college or university, specifically in engineering or biological, environmental, physical, or chemical science. Other college education credits can be considered in shortening the required experience time that is required for certification. COMPENSATION: The beginning salary for this position will be based on a combination of education, experience, and certifications.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work flexible shifts & over time. Duties include performing daily operations and maintenance activities associated with operating the water treatment plant, distribution system, general grounds keeping, and record keeping. Must hold a valid driver’s license. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & capable of lifting, standing, kneeling & bending.
