Continuing Education for Operators- Henderson

These training sessions provide a hands-on, practical look at key operations within water and wastewater treatment. Participants will tour a surface-water treatment plant and follow the full treatment process from intake to finished water, with a strong focus on chemical usage, dosage control, and feed systems. Attendees will also learn how to perform jar testing, understand the theory behind it, use the equipment correctly, and interpret the results to improve treatment performance. In addition, the sessions cover safe chemical handling practices, including proper storage, PPE requirements, cross-contamination prevention, and procedures for receiving and verifying chemicals at the facility.
