Kentucky Water Day 2026 Brings Rural Water Community To The Capitol

News,

On March 3, 2026, the Kentucky rural water community gathered at the State Capitol in
Frankfort for Water Day 2026. Attendees from more than 40 utilities across the state came
together to share the important work happening in their communities, connect with state
leaders, and highlight the critical role of safe and reliable water systems throughout Kentucky.
Participants had the opportunity to share their stories, highlight challenges and successes at
their utilities, and speak directly with the legislators who represent their communities about the
issues that matter most.

KRWA sincerely thanks the Kentucky General Assembly for their time, engagement, and
ongoing support for Kentucky’s water systems, as well as MML&K Government Solutions for
helping the day run smoothly. We also extend our appreciation to everyone who attended and
look forward to continuing the conversation at Kentucky Water Day 2027!
