Under the direction of the Chief Water Plant Operator, a water plant operator operates, maintains 
and inspects the City of Russell Conventional Water Treatment Plant and related facilities to 
supply, treat, store, and distribute potable water. Performs duties related to the operation, 
maintenance and control of all related plant process equipment including; pumps, motors, 
chlorinators, chemical feeds, lagoons and laboratory instruments, as well as grounds keeping, 
maintenance, and reporting.

Minimum starting pay of $22.50/hr and above based on experience.

Must possess Class IIIA or IVA DW Treatment License and maintain a valid Driver's License, 
participate in drug/alcohol testing, and pass a physical and background check.
