Lead & Copper Rule (LCR) Compliance and Communication (6hrs DW CEU)

This training provides an in-depth review of the updated Lead and Copper Rule, outlining new compliance responsibilities, deadlines, and regulatory expectations, with a strong emphasis on clear internal coordination and effective communication with customers. Participants will receive guidance on lead sampling procedures, developing service line inventories, applying statistical tools to meet regulatory standards, and fulfilling expanded testing requirements for schools and childcare facilities. The day will concluded with an overview of the cooperative support provided by the Kentucky Division of Water and the Kentucky Rural Water Association to help utilities navigate and achieve compliance with the new rule.
