Interim Water Plant Superintendent.
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Interim Water Plant Superintendent. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Water Plant Superintendent, will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of the Water Treatment Plant Department. Under the direction of the Water Plant Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration, operation, maintenance and special projects of the water treatment plant and insure that plant operations comply with established procedures and standards, federal, state and local laws, and administrative regulation
Qualified applicants must have a High school education or GED, plus 9 to 10 years related work experience as a Class IVA Plant Operator and 3 years of management or project management experience is required. Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Applied Science or related degree is preferred. Must possess and maintain a Class IVA Water Treatment Plant Operators Licenses issued by Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Interim Water Plant Superintendent will transition to full-time upon retirement of the current Water Plant Superintendent.
The starting salary is $3,258.52 Bi-Weekly ($84,721.68 annually) plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System. All applicants must be able to successfully complete drug screening and background investigation.
