Fluoride Reported In CCR

The Kentucky Division of Water (DOW) has determined that the only required fluoride result to be included in the 2016 CCR is the fluoride result from the inorganics analysis. DOW has confirmed that they will be issuing violations for systems that incorrectly report fluoride in the main table of the CCR.  The ONLY fluoride number that goes in the main table is the fluoride from the inorganic sample that is typically monitored annually for surface water systems and every three years for groundwater systems.  If systems include the Dental Health ranges or the Secondary in the main table, they WILL RECEIVE A VIOLATION this year. Water systems that wish to provide the dental health fluoride results to their consumers may do so in a separate table.
